Confirmed Conferences:

The first Mediterranean Congress of Biotechnology (MCB 1) was held from 25 to 29 March 2006 at Yasmine Hammamet, Tunisia. About, 400 scientists from 10 countries (Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, France, Italy, Spain, Egypt, USA, Senegal, and Mexico) have participated in this important event. MCB 1 covered the main biotechnology topics including Health, Industrial, Environmental and Plant Biotechnology. During MCB 1, six plenary lectures and 23 symposium lectures were presented by renowned speakers in the different fields of biotechnology. In addition, 88 oral and 221 poster presentations were presented by researchers and PHD students. MCB 1 was considered as an important opportunity joining biology scientists and students from Mediterranean country leading to the creation of scientific collaborations and exchange.
